Bill Pay is Now Available!
BFDFCU is now offering the convenient Bill Pay service! Never again will you have to write checks or pay for another late payment fee when you pay your bills. If you are interested in this free service, contact either offices or e-mail Stacey at smenard@bfdfcu.org for the disclosure.

BFDFCU is now offering Visa Gift cards. The perfect gift for birthdays, the holidays, and any other occassion that you can think of. Safer than cash, they can be used anywhere Visa® is accepted. Any amount up to $500! $3.50 purchase fee per card. No activation, useage, or maintance fee.

IRA Accounts
The Buffalo Fire Dept Federal Credit Union is offering an IRA share account. Unlike a Certificate of Deposit there is no maturity date, therefore you have access to your funds (deposits or withdrawals) at your convenience.

For members who are over 59 1/2 years of age it is a convenient way to have your retirement funds available when you want them.

IRA funds may be transferred from other institutions without incurring fees or penalties.

All IRA Rules & Regulations govern transactions to IRA accounts.

Home Banking is Here!
Online Internet Banking is now available to all members of the Buffalo Fire Department Federal Credit Union. By using this service a member can view balances, transfer funds between accounts, and see transaction history. Members can also receive account statements electronically. This means that you can receive your statement promptly at the end of the statement period. This feature will also help defer the cost of statement preparation and postage allowing the Credit Union to pass these savings on to its members in the form of low fees and better rates. At your convenience you can view your transactions and in the case of your checking account, verify your cleared checks on a daily basis.

You must be signed up and entered in the database to use this free service. There is a form that you can print, fill out, and return to the office that you can find in the Home Banking section of the Products & Services page. You can also stop in or call either of our offices to pick one up or have one mailed.

Both offices of the Credit Union will be closed the following days in 2009 and the begining of 2010:

Veteran's Day Wednesday November 11th

Thanksgiving Day Thursday November 26th

Black Friday November 27th

Christmas Eve Thursday December 24th and Christmas Day Friday December 25th
