Dear Members, The media has correctly reported that the former CEO - Manager Eve Hutchison, has pled guilty in State Supreme Court to a felony involving theft from the Credit Union. She was treminated last year after an account imbalance appeared and could not be explained. The Board of Directors then ordered an audit of all the accounts and the results of the audit were then turned over to the District Attorney's office, which resulted in the guilty plea. This theft by a former trusted employee has been very difficult but now with the guilty plea entered, the corner has been turned and the focus can again be how to make this Credit Union a better place to serve the needs of its' members. No member of the credit union will suffer a personal loss as a result of the theft and it is anticipated that any loss sustained by the Credit Union will be minimal, if any, due to the belief that between restitution and an insurance claim the Credit Union will be made whole.
